*Each session is open to campers who will be entering 4th, 5th and 6th grade in the fall of 2012.
Learning to Lead is a high energy, fun-filled week introduction to Christ-centered leadership for 4th-6th grade youth. Guided by mentoring adults and camp staff, campers open God’s Word to discover leadership principles found in the lives of people like Nehemiah, Esther, David, Timothy, Peter, and Paul. Each day provides numerous opportunities for active learning: all-camp games, developmentally-appropriate worship times, group discussions, personal project creation, a hilarious game show, and nightly counselor devos. As campers learn about God-honoring leaders, they are challenged to identify, question, and apply the same principles of leadership in their own lives.
The presentation style and active learning methods make this focused week fun and challenging. Campers work individually and in groups to put their faith and their unique talents into action.
